Get Involved with ROAM

ROAM is growing, and we welcome mission-aligned people who want to help expand access to affirming sex therapy, perinatal mental health care, and trauma-informed community training.

Whether you're interested in board service, advising, collaboration, referrals, training, or other forms of support, we'd love to start a conversation.

Ways to Get Involved

Board & Advisory Leadership

Help guide the growth of a nonprofit rooted in access, dignity, and affirming care.

Community Partnerships

Collaborate on referrals, programming, outreach, or resource-sharing to strengthen pathways to care.

Training & Consultation

Bring trauma-informed, inclusive training to your team or organization.

Mission-Aligned Support

Contribute skills, strategy, visibility, or financial support that helps ROAM grow sustainably.

Our Approach to Leadership

ROAM approaches leadership as stewardship, shared responsibility, and care. We value collaboration, humility, transparency, accountability, and a willingness to learn.

We are looking for people who are thoughtful about power and impact, committed to ethical practice, and interested in helping build sustainable, person-centered systems of care.

Our work is guided by access, affirmation, connection, and integrity. We believe strong leadership helps create stronger, more responsive pathways to care for the people and communities ROAM serves.

Who We're Hoping to Connect With

We welcome conversation with people who bring experience in areas such as:

  • Nonprofit leadership and governance
  • Finance, accounting, or fundraising
  • Legal or compliance work
  • Mental health, medical, or public health practice
  • Perinatal, reproductive, or sexual health work
  • Community-based advocacy and organizing
  • Marketing, communications, or storytelling
  • Lived experience aligned with ROAM's mission

No prior board experience is required for every role. What matters most is alignment, thoughtfulness, and a commitment to ethical, collaborative leadership.

For Professionals & Community Partners

ROAM welcomes connection with therapists, doulas, pelvic health providers, OB/GYNs, midwives, social workers, nonprofit leaders, educators, and community-based professionals who want to strengthen referral pathways, co-create training, or support affirming care in their communities.

If your work aligns with ROAM's mission, we'd be glad to explore what partnership could look like.

Why This Matters

ROAM exists to expand access to quality sex therapy and perinatal mental health care in spaces that honor dignity, safety, and lived experience. Building that future takes more than one clinician or one organization. It takes thoughtful collaboration, shared leadership, and community-rooted support.

We envision a future where mental health care is accessible, affirming, trauma-informed, and responsive to lived experience. If that future resonates with you, we invite you to help build it.
